I am now the proud owner of a Rio Cali, a portable music player. So far, I'm pretty happy with it. My model stores 128 megabytes of music and in my futile efforts to fill that space I've wondered what people do with hard drive-based music players which store multiple gigabytes of data. How much Celine Dion and Jessica Simpson do all those iPod owners need?
A friend of mine uses his iPod to store and listen to books. I suppose that's a smart use for all that storage capacity; he can be “productive” while he's waiting for the bus or for that double mocha latte. My primary use for this music player however is to entertain/motivate me while I work out. I don't think James Earl Jones Reads the Bible is going to do the trick.

I was surprised at how small the Rio Cali is. I suppose I shouldn't have been. For years now people have been paying more and more for smaller and smaller things. Got to love technology.

Cute. (You, not the player)
Are you referring to me? I'm drunk / perhaps even very drunk.
Did your mommy get it for you? If so, she must really love you! It is super cute. :)
